Senior Management

Patrick C. James, President.  

Mr. James is the founder and former owner of Ai Collision. Mr. James has been involved in the collision repair industry for 20 years. He has built a highly successful business in the Memphis, Tennessee market based on high quality work, customer-focused service, integrity and professionalism. Mr. James knows every facet of the business and has built strong relationships with insurers, vendors and employees. He was a member of the Coyote Vision Group, a highly select peer group comprised of recognized industry leaders.   

 


William M. Johnston, Vice President.  

Mr. Johnston received his A.B. from Duke University. Upon Mr. Johnston’s graduation from Duke, he worked as a Consultant in the Business Process Design department of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). Mr. Johnston joined ABA in 1999. Mr. Johnston specializes in the creation and implementation of standardized procedures and innovative tools that seek to maximize productivity, facilitate training, and provide key performance metrics. He is also responsible for all aspects of ABA’s accounting and information technology.

 

Patrick D. Terry, Middle TN Regional Manager

Mr. Terry received his B.S. in Military Science from Pacific University.  He was a U.S. Marine from 1986 to 1992 and served during the first Gulf War.  Having been around the automotive service business since the age of 11, first working in his father’s tire shop, Mr. Terry returned to the industry after his military service, moving from a heavy truck technician to an I-Car certified structural collision repair technician to a lead painter, certified as a PPG Performance Painter.  Mr. Terry then moved to the front office of the collision repair center eventually achieving the position of General Manager.  Along the way, he became I-Car Platinum Certified (which he has maintained to this day) and has been an I-Car Instructor.  He has worked in management roles both in independent collision repair shops and in a dealership environment.  In 2005, Mr. Terry took a job with Farmers Insurance as a Field Claims Adjuster.  Within his first year he was ranked first in the state for auto physical damage and soon took over the Western Tennessee operations.  Mr. Terry was invited to participate in the National COD Executive Charter Team, tasked with streamlining the COD Program.  He was then promoted to the position of Claims Training and Development Specialist for 33 states.  Hired by Autobody America in May of 2008, Patrick Terry is the Middle Tennessee Regional Manager, tasked with overseeing the operation of all of Autobody America’s Middle TN shops and assisting in identifying new opportunities for growth within the region.
